  1. What personal data do we hold?

    If you have opened a Buyer account : First and Last Name/Company Name, Email Address, Telephone Number
    If you have opened a Seller account : Company Name, Contact Name, Email Address, Country, Telephone Number

  2. Is my data shared with third parties?

    No, we will never share your personal data with any other companies or organisations. It is solely used for UrParts.com related services outlined in our Terms of Use.

  3. As a Buyer, what will Suppliers know about me?

    Once you have submitted your part request it will then be checked and edited if necessary by a UrParts staff member in order to assure GDPR compliance is upheld. We will delete any additional information you may have provided at the time of entering your request that we do not require. Any deleted text will NOT be retained on our system.

    The only personal information we will forward to suppliers that are registered on our parts network are as below:

    Name & Country Location :

    We will not disclose / share your email address with UrParts network of suppliers. Your email address will not be visible on the email that we send to them to allow them to help you with your parts request.

  4. How secure is my data?

    UrParts is an SSL certified website. SSL protects your sensitive information as it travels across the world's computer networks. It provides privacy, critical security and data integrity.

  5. How long will you retain my information?

    UrParts is a service that you may use on a daily basis or infrequently to source and buy machinery parts & components.
    In order to ensure that UrParts service remains available to you when you most require it we will not close your account or remove your details for a period of 36 months from the date that you signed up to the service. (Unless you specifically request for your personal information to be deleted - see below) If you are using UrParts.com service routinely (daily, monthly) we will not close your account until we receive a request from you to do so.

  6. Can I have my personal details removed from your system?

    Yes - If you wish to remove your details please email info@urparts.com

  7. How do I go about requesting the information you have about me?
